Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we ship globally. Please proceed with your order by completing the purchase form and we will contact you with shipping options.

What type of wires can you test on?

Our products can test on all metallic wiring—from shielded & unshielded to twisted pairs & single stranded wire, LiveWire products can detect faults as long as there is a return path.

Do I need two wires to detect faults in my wiring?

In order for Spread Spectrum Time Domain Reflectometry to detect a fault, two parallel lines are needed. The metallic shielding in wiring can be used, allowing you to detect a fault on a single run of wire.

I need a different connector/adaptor to connect to my system? Do you have other options available?

If you need different connectors for your system, please contact us at 1-855-346-3358 to discuss a solution.

What is the difference between TDR and SSTDR?

TDR stands for Time-domain Reflectometry, which is a method of measuring characteristics of electrical lines by transmitting a short rise time pulse along the conductor.

LiveWire Technology rises above TDR and uses SSTDR, or Spread Spectrum Time-domain Reflectometry, integrates the technological foundation of cell phone communications (spread spectrum). SSTDR can locate the tiny intermittent faults left after an arc fault event because the impedance discontinuity was too small to create a measurable reflection. LiveWire has achieved a significant breakthrough in being able to monitor real-time changes in live, electrical circuits and steel structures embedded in concrete to locate an electrical fault.
